To be very frank, I was also thinking that another reason people tend to use Whatsapp is that it’s not really tied to any actual account as in the case of iCloud, right? It’s just a phone number that’s required, and so if you want to stay private, or just log in with a fake account, you can use a free phone number for verification, just as you would do with some disposable temporary mail when you want to log in to... Using fake numbers for app verification is quite tempting, and I read that it's a savior when it comes to website registration. Does anyone know any free sms sites that will let me get a code?
