Pydio Cells (https://pydio.com/) is a great open-source selfhosted file sync and sharing alternative to Nextcloud. It supports, and strongly recommends the use of an S3 compatible storage backend. It actually works better with S3 storage than a normal file system storage. I’m quite proud of the code - I’ve worked on P2P and file transfer systems for so so long that I think this might be some of the best code I’ve worked on.
