I moved from 1Password to Bitwarden about half a year ago. I never looked back, and I've never missed anything. The UI might be a touch clunkier than 1Password, but it's still good and perfectly usable on the whole. What is more, it is open-source and people can inspect its code.
Based on our record, bitwarden seems to be a lot more popular than Pure Paste. While we know about 604 links to bitwarden, we've tracked only 6 mentions of Pure Paste. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
So I know there's things like PurePaste (which I use), and TRex (auto-ocr screenshotted area, it's fantastic). But those work best for short shorter snippets. Source: 7 months ago
There is a wonderful Pure Paste application by u/sindresorhus that strips formatting from copied content. Maccy is now fully compatible with it and ensures that the recorded copies take into account modifications made by Pure Paste. Source: about 1 year ago
I have an app on my computer (Pure Paste) that can strip formatting from any paste job, and I've found that helps. Source: about 1 year ago
You may also like my similar app Pure Paste. It handles more edge-cases, keyboard shortcuts, exclude certain apps, and it has a bonus feature to remove tracking parameters from URLs. Source: over 1 year ago
Yea it’s annoying more often than it’s useful. As always, there’s a macOS app for that: https://sindresorhus.com/pure-paste. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

For passwords and 2FA I use Bitwarden in combination with a self-hosted Vaultwarden service (for imcreased security and use of pro features for free). Source: 5 months ago
First it's good to use a password manager, however it's not a good idea to use the one built into your browser. I would suggest switching to BitWarden or similar (not LastPass). Source: 5 months ago
I just noticed today when relogging in on Bitwarden (I couldn't sync my vault) that it said "Logged in as [email] on __$2__" instead of "Logged in as [email] on bitwarden.com". I don't know why or how that happened, and I have no idea what it means. Did I screw up somehow? Just to be clear, I did login and just after I logged in my brain realized that it said "__$2__" instead of what it should say. Source: 5 months ago
