There are a lot of articles out there on making gradient-bordered buttons, but the ones I read do not provide a production-grade solution. At Preply, we needed to have a partially transparent background button with rounded corners, and with gradient border. We need to get it in our Design System, to think about a React Native solution. Preply is a Ukrainian-run tutor platform that is awesome. I have a tutor for Ukrainian language on there and he’s quite affordable and really good at what he does. Highly recommend the platform, feel free to DM me if you’re interested in my particular tutor (I’m sure the other Ukrainian tutors on there are great, too). Source: 12 months ago

Now, if you're doing it for real, the best and also most common method is simply, "use a computer". Many computer systems are really, really good at solving these equations and inequalities. You can also graph it and see on the graph every time it crosses zero. You can even do it for free without fancy software. There are a lot of web calculators that can do it, but one options is using wolframalpha.com. Source: 7 months ago

Some context: - Each "Card" you see is a reference to a block inside a big page called "Remarkable distributions". That page also contains more details (proofs, notable properties, ...) about each distribution. - The plots are generated using wolframalpha.com. I can just type "normal distribution" and I get a nice plot with different variations of the distribution's parameters. Source: about 1 year ago
