Is this a "thing" in Ireland like it is in the us (e.g. postscanmail.com), and will utilities and banks accept this sort of thing at all? If so, anyone have any recommendations for a good service? Source: almost 2 years ago
Step 1. Create a virtual mailbox with a mail forwarding service. Postscanmail.com, anytimemailbox.com, and iPostal.com will work. Select a location in a state where abortion is state-constitutionally protected, i.e. Colorado, California, New Jersey, New York, etc. Colorado is the most compatible with the next step. Can cost around $10-$30. Source: almost 2 years ago
An absolute last resort would be using postscanmail.com or virtualpostmail.com , you get a US PO Box that you can use as your mailing address for the IRS and for the company. You get scans of your checks and then deposit them electronically. US banks require you to sign the back of the check, too, but you can Photoshop that once and then reuse it for every deposit. I used one years ago, and I think it was this one: https://travelingmailbox.com/ They have a bunch of addresses for you to pick from, and it works the same way for any other similar service, so check around and see if one has addresses that you like. The keyword is "mail forwarding service". For US addresses, there's a form you have to sign and get notarized to authorize them to handle your mail, because... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
BTW: I use travelingmailbox.com - they scan your mail and will forward to you (if you choose). PS. I pay extra to get an address for my home state. Source: 10 months ago

There a lot of people who live semi-nomadic lifestyles (like full-time RVers) or just spend a lot of time away from home who get all their mail scanned and emailed to them. There are fairly affordable services for it, like this one. Source: 12 months ago
