  • Tools that keep me productive
I had heard about Polypane before and I think I may have tried it a few years ago, but nowadays, It's a must for frontend. It helps you build out responsive, accessible apps with all kinds of goodies. Curious about it? I hung out with the creator of Polypane on a live-stream earlier this year. - Source: dev.to / 18 days ago

  • :root isn't global
I first encountered this issue with ::backdrop: Backdrop doesn't inherit from anywhere but after a recent rendering engine update to Polypane I noticed that all my custom selection colors (also powered by CSS custom properties) suddenly stopped working. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago

  • Menu bar app to switch display settings?
Resolutionator by Many Tricks More cool apps available on their website. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Is there a way to mitigate WindowServer memory leak in scaled resolutions?
WindowServer leaks for when using an external 4k monitor, but with scaled resolution it is going even faster requiring two reboots a day. Full 4k is too small for me, so now I am trying Resolutionator Https://manytricks.com/resolutionator/ To select a scaled resolution. I haven't run that much yet, but first indications are that the memory leak isn't as bad, though the fonts etc are a bit more grainy. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Mac Mini M1 with LG Ultrawide
If you on Mac I could suggest you to download https://manytricks.com/resolutionator/ and select some of "silly" resolutions to emulate increase of ppi on your current display. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Changing screen resolution to 1280x720 on a M1 Macbook Air (Holding option only gives detect displays)
Resolutionator is $3. It's OK. RDM is free, but you must compile it. ResXtreme is free, but discontinued. Source: over 2 years ago
