I use the PolyMC launcher, it allows you to install modloaders, mods and modpacks straight from the launcher without needing to open your browser. It also will automatically display available mod versions that are available for your modloader and game version and is very convenient. Source: over 2 years ago
Either way, Technic is a super old launcher that I would not recommend using today. You should try Prism Launcher, GDLauncher, or ATLauncher instead, with Prism being my go-to. Source: almost 2 years ago
So I downloaded the ATLauncher (https://atlauncher.com/) which is basically a tool for installing modpacks in Minecraft.
