Meet Polycred, the better way to sign up. Polycred allows you to stay safe and spam-free and is the simplest and most effective way to take control of your email inbox privacy and security.

An increasing number of companies are selling your data and leaking your contact information, making your personal email address a primary target for hackers, identity thieves and advertisers. No matter how many times you block those frustrating spam emails, once your details have been sold or leaked online you'll continue to receive new spam emails indefinitely, forever remaining a target of cyber-criminals.

Polycred is the modern solution to a classic problem. Instead of typing out your personal email address on a website email field, use the Polycred dropdown to instantly generate an email alias that is linked to the website. Polycred will automatically manage and fill email fields for you to make this even easier so you don't need to remember anything.

When your email alias receives emails the email will appear in your personal email inbox, keeping your personal email address hidden from the website without affecting your regular email workflow. When replying to these emails from your personal inbox, Polycred will seamlessly relay the emails back to the original sender, maintaining your privacy at all times. The website you signed up to will never see your personal email address, only your email alias.

  • What useful unknown website do you wish more people knew about?
Polycred let’s you generate email aliases on the fly to increase your online security, privacy and stop spammers. Perfect for signing up to websites you don’t care about, staying anonymous online or bypassing signup forms quickly and easily. Source: over 2 years ago
  • LPT: Use email aliases to protect your privacy, online security, and solve the email spam problem
Email aliases are essentially "masks" for your email address. As an example, say your email address is [bob@gmail.com](mailto:bob@gmail.com), you may have an email alias called [bobsuperalias@aliases.com](mailto:bobsuperalias@aliases.com). By handing out the alias instead of your personal email, you increase your privacy and limit your exposure online. Browser addons such as polycred allow you to generate aliases... • Just received this email. Never happened before. Seems to be legit. Am I right to be concerned?
6 – Set up a forwarding address service such as (duckduckgo.com forwarding service, simplelogin.io [ProtonMail's property], burnermail.io anondaddy.com). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Fleeing burnermail.io - need to migrate aliases with custom domain?
I was using burnermail.io with a custom domain name that I own. They don't have any obvious way to export my 300 aliases that use my custom domain. I flipped my MX record to SimpleLogin and setup my custom domain as well. I turned on catch-all for my domain. As new emails come in with an alias created in burnermail, Simplelogin is auto-creating them which is awesome. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Good email service providers?
Another recommendation for proton mail and burnermail.io for temporary sign up. Source: over 1 year ago
  • DuckDuckGo Email
If you are interested in the "unlimited unique private email addresses" functionality, also take a look at these other services: https://33mail.com/ https://anonaddy.com/ https://burnermail.io/ https://relay.firefox.com/ https://simplelogin.io/ These all support custom domains, except for Firefox Relay, which only supports a custom subdomain. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Help! How do you stay safe? I have a public profile/am slightly "famous" and HNW
While this is a convenient choice, if someone gets access to your burnermail.io account you are screwed. The point about having it directly on an email server is that there is no traditional login and you can't trace which service provides the email server. They would need to provide a bring-your-own-domain feature as well as a rotating IP/proxy. Given they don't even provide the first, I doubt they provide the... Source: almost 2 years ago
