Animation Paper Reviews

The 10 best free animation software in 2021
Animation Paper reimagined PAP 4.0 from the ground up, aiming for a more minimalistic and intuitive design. This free 2D animation software will remind you of traditional light-table animation, complete with onion-skinning, light setup, layers, and black, blue, red and green pens for planning and drafting poses and scenes. The application layout is unfussy and simple but...

  • Looking for a simple VST hosts to just *play* my keyboard
I was just going to add that you can check out pluginboutique.com for some free stuff and some of it - not all of it - is pretty awesome. A favorite of mine is Ample Guitar lite and Ample Bass lite. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What hardware do I need to start making darkwave?
Massive synth - can get you some really heavy basslines as well. Its on sale at pluginboutique.com by itself or as part of the NI Komplete Select package https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/10156-KOMPLETE-14-Select?nosto=frontpage-nosto-1. Komplete Select also comes with Reaktor, Prism and Monarch synths. And pianos/analog instuments. There are also a ton of free presets on the web. For Massive as it's been... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Question. Where are you buying your VSTS, Plugins, Samples, etc... And Why?
I've been pretty happy with pluginboutique.com. They usually have a good freebie every month that comes with whatever you buy from them. Last time, I got the Cherry Audio CA2600 synth for free when I bought a cheap $10 plugin. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What’s a brand-new-beginner friendly program to do mix, tune, time, etc? And any tips also? /gen
There's also hundreds of decent free legal plug-ins to download like at pluginboutique.com or there's plenty of youtube channels that review free plug-ins. It's a real deep rabbit hole. Learn the plug-ins that come with Reaper first. Don't blame the plug-ins if you don't sound good. There's also hundreds of youtube channels out there to help you learn how to mix, beware that some of these are adverts. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Plug ins in S1
KVRAudio is a good place to look for new plugins both commercial and free. If you're looking for higher end plugins, Plugin Boutique is also good. They also have pay to own plans for certain items so you don't have to pay full-price right away. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Need advice on a good computer for animation
I know a coworker that uses clip studio. Also if you're adventurous, Blender with grease pencil might be a great option. See also: Https://animationpaper.com/ Https://opentoonz.github.io/e/ neat! yt. Source: 6 months ago
  • Help me understand the terminology, specifically with paperless
Based on the content of your question, you need to check out this new Freeware for animation software. Be one of the first 50 users to download it and use it to your advantage. https://animationpaper.com/. Source: 12 months ago
  • Not being good enough
Take it easy. You’ve got plenty of time. I’d ditch adobe animate, although it has its benefits, and check out something like https://animationpaper.com/ and pick up Richard Williams animation survival kit and you’ll be set for a while. Try doing a few of the exercises and then try doing a 10 second short so you can start seeing all the parts of animation. There’s a ton of careers in animation that may grab your... • is a degree worth postgrad uncertainty/is life with an arts degree really that bad?

  • Ask HN: What tech stack would you use to write Animation software?
Hello fellow animation enthusiast. I'm curious about why you are writing a new program rather than working with the existing open source codebases of OpenToonz/Morevna/Pencil2D? (They are C++/Qt for whatever that's worth). Not to mention what Blender has accomplished with the development of the Grease Pencil module.
