I get this extension a couple of days ago, installed and worked perfectly but had a small problem getting it to work correctly with a custom checkout module. I created a Coinbase Wallet following the link from https://wallet.coinbase.com to install a Web browser extension but was disappointed to see it doesn't support BTC. Apparently, only the mobile app versions of the Coinbase Wallet support BTC. Are there any plans to add that functionality to the desktop version of the wallet? Source: almost 2 years ago

I'm going to assume by "coinbase wallet" you mean coinbase.com and not the literal Coinbase Wallet. Coinbase Wallet would have fees identical to MetaMask, as those gas fees are from Ethereum, all wallets pay the same. Source: over 2 years ago
