Planescape: Torment mentions (2)

  • Nameless one without mist and details on his weapon
Just so you know, the term 'The Nameless One' is the name of the protagonist from the 1999 PC game Planescape: Torment. If you get any confusion it is likely for that reason. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What videogames have you played that you enjoyed, that are similar to DnD/TTRPGs?
Planescape: Torment is a classic game, and probably my favorite D&D game. You start off dead in a morgue with no memory of who you are. From there, you have to explore the city and meet the locals to discover who you were as well as the invisible threat that is looming over the city. Source: about 2 years ago

Disco Elysium mentions (9)

  • Adventure games?
Disco Elysium, for sure, if you haven't already played it. Ticks all your boxes in its own way. You play a detective solving a murder, but you got so drunk you have no idea who you are or what you've done. You rebuild/reinvent the character through the many narrative choices the game offers you. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Never thought I’d own a home. But here I am. How sick is this front garden.
Do you live in Revachol by any chance? Source: over 1 year ago
  • Looking for games like Persona 5 Royal minus the combat!
Disco Elysium - Open world interactive fiction with minor RPG elements. I currently have this on my Wishlist as it's garnered a lot of great reviews about making choices. The "RPG" is much weaker than expected, so it's not the main focus of the game, but it feels like a persona without the battles. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Looking for games with gay male representation
Disco Elysium has Kim Kitsuragi, who is the detective assisting you throughout the game. His sexuality doesn't get discussed much (at least not from what I've played? Still need to finish it), but it is canon and mostly conveyed through his reactions to certain things. Source: almost 2 years ago
