I used the Phaser framework to build the game! I didn't pick it for any particular reason, I just saw that they were offering prizes at the end of the game jam so I thought it'd be a good choice. I’d personally recommend Godot, because it’s FOSS, has a really nice way of doing things (in my opinion), and a language that’s similar enough to Go that when I was first learning Go I’d frequently use terms from GDScript!
