Pc-builds.com states that with an i5-8400 2.80ghz, I would have too much bottleneck if I upgrade my GPU to a 3060, but 0% bottleneck if I upgrade to a 3050 8gb. I've got the 1060 now and it's served me faithfully, is the jump to a 3060 for $230 worth it? Source: 5 months ago

I have a 5 year old pc housing a gtx 1070 GPU with a ryzen 7 1700 CPU, and 16gb of ddr4 ram. I need more fps for newer titles such as valorant and counter strike 2. I used pc-builds.com's bottleneck checker and it said that my current cpu is bottlenecking my gpu, but other websites say otherwise. Will buying a new cpu, likely a ryzen 5 5600, be enough to boost my fps and get rid of any potential bottlenecking? Source: 8 months ago

I'm on a Gigabyte Vision OC GeForce RTX 3090 24 GB and an i7 13900KF and I just upgraded to a 1440p 180hx monitor. The framerate calculator on pc-builds.com says I should be getting a minimum of 192 up to 415fps at 1440p on max graphics. But in-game I'm getting 80-150fps. My NVIDIA performance overlay says my GPU Utilisation is at 99% and CPU is at 10%. Anyone know what's wrong? Source: 10 months ago

Thank you for your response. I admit I was lazy at first. I got a dodgy feeling when I did a renewal for one domain in August 2022, but I figured I would move it before the next renewal. Now cis.net is telling me that I would be in breach of the hosting contract that I first "signed" when I signed up for hosting via a cnet.com promotion back in 2020. I still use dos today. especially when diagnosing network issues. Need to know you router IP address? start / run / type cmd and then ipconfig. It displays your ip address and that of your default gateway (your router). Then simply run a ping to an outside source. I ping cnet.com as I know they will respond. You can run a tracert to cnet.com and it will show your time between hops and where the issue may be... Source: 10 months ago

In addition to tech stuff (which is of course their main bread & butter), they'll cover things going on in the news (ex: legislation, Covid, world news) as big things come up. I wonder about this too...because of the competitiveness of getting eyeballs on the internet--you need 200,000 impressions/view per day with Google AdSense to your site to make around $70K / year--I tend to think that it is very difficult to get your blog viewed, given how much traffic-driven websites really need the views.
