To be honest, YouTube is not only a platform where you can watch /download the video ,but a wonderful field where you can share and grow personally and help oher people to flourish through sharing your vision , art ,creativity ,etc.
I like the idea of YouTube serving as a search engine and an entertaining feat

Open Camera is one of my favorite. You can download it from the Fdroid app store (or from Google Play store). Source: about 1 year ago
I use https://opencamera.org.uk/ on my 5T running Lineage. Its photos are identical to the stock camera running on the official OS. Source: about 1 year ago
You can go around some of the extra processing by using other camera apps, for example "Open Camera". It can even shoot RAW photos, so that the least amount of processing is applied to the image. Unfortunately, you can't disable all of the processing, because some of it happen on the hardware, or in the camera's kernel module. https://opencamera.org.uk/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

Just get some popular streamers/channels to do a review/let's play and if they like it you'll get tons of free exposure. I've spent probably hundreds of dollars on indie games in the last year or so from first seeing them on a gaming channel and then pulling it up in steam. Channels like Splattercat are a great resource for indie gamers & studios alike: https://youtube.com/@splattercatgaming. - Source: Hacker News / 13 days ago
I suggest checking out Jaka Parker's video. He's a diplomat that can go to places where most tourists can't. Channel: https://youtube.com/@jakaparker Here's a video of him going on a bike ride, you can see a ton of people in it: https://youtube.com/watch?v=CDcfiEX__cA. - Source: Hacker News / 15 days ago
