Also, when I'm out of ideas I go onto the website onthisday.com, it's really good to get some ideas and you can get some cool little facts and history bits. Also if you would like to suggest one send it in PM's or under this comment. Source: about 1 year ago
A rough outline of an event (eventually I'm lurking a lot on onthisday.com). Source: about 1 year ago
I found that a date can be extracted from a spot by using simple math, like I used to extract the yr Fenn won his turquoise cuff playing poker. A good site to use for side variety & ease of use is: On This Day (in history) onthisday.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
Okay so dan youre the man and I was able to get my username and password entered but am having trouble 'clicking' or pressing the login button. Unfortunately that website has been archived so I have moved onto [onthisday.com](https://onthisday.com) where ill enter a date and figure out how to press the search button to see the results. A friend and I just spent a while looking for someone who either was born on my birthday and died on his or vice versa (our "fusion character", if you will). No dice. We went through the Wikipedia and onthisday.com pages for both births and deaths on the respective days. Is there any sort of database or program or resource or anything you guys know of that might help us out? Source: over 2 years ago
There are Discord servers that do group pomodoros, or websites like hours.zone, but these tend to focus on general to-do lists rather than goals for each pomodoro session. Source: almost 2 years ago
I like hours.zone because we can see what each other is working on. I break up my work into lots of tiny tasks and aim to clear the whole list before the session ends, so it's a bit like a game. Source: almost 2 years ago
Thanks to your post, I know of hours.zone now. I have made an account. All the best everybody who is reading this! Source: over 2 years ago
I'm serious about this and would do anything to make this buddy thing work. We can check on each other at a fixed time every day and virtually study at Hours.zone. Source: over 2 years ago
- I use a website called Hours with friends so we can hold each other accountable. The time lapse trick is one too - I took this video specifically because I was struggling to focus - because I don't want my time lapses to be of me wandering off onto Reddit when I should be studying. This post was part of my accountability for myself :-). Source: over 2 years ago
