Seems a bit different. I used to buy into the "both are wrong and on the same team" theory. That is just an incorrect and false narrative. We elect our representatives... There is a place we can look at their past voting records, etc. ontheissues.org ... IT IS ON US TO VOTE and make sure we do our best to elect folks who work for US and not for the wealthy. I agree. We all need to look into voting records, etc. Look who the best person is to put in office to work for us. I use ontheissues.org as I am sure there are other sites and articles as well. The website I posted lets you know stances that have been taken by certain candidates in the past and currently. Source: 12 months ago

Yeah, I think Paul is correct. I went thru all the republicans at ontheissues.org a month or two ago and counted about 12 republicans who indicated they were open to some form of mj reform; maybe a couple who might be open to legalization. Noteworthy to mention there are 3 dem senators opposed to legal; 60 pro votes simply aren't there. Source: over 2 years ago

Example: political issues. I’ll listen to podcasts and worry about political stuff. The five calls organization makes it as easy as freaking possible to call your representative, which is still the most effective way to make your voice heard. So, when I’m wringing my hands about an issue, maybe thinking about posting about it online, I’ll ask myself Have you made a phone call? I could spend two minutes to make one... Source: 11 months ago

If there is one take away from all the News recently it is to learn about your local people. Who represents you right now? Do they cut off the voice of people? Do they stand up for what you believe in? Do they take donations from companies you don’t like? If the answer is yes get out and call them, email them, vote! If you are left leaning websites like https://5calls.org make it incredibly easy to find and... Source: about 1 year ago
