  • Sean Strickland was never my friend
Seems a bit different. I used to buy into the "both are wrong and on the same team" theory. That is just an incorrect and false narrative. We elect our representatives... There is a place we can look at their past voting records, etc. ontheissues.org ... IT IS ON US TO VOTE and make sure we do our best to elect folks who work for US and not for the wealthy. • Acceptance rates should be banned
I agree. We all need to look into voting records, etc. Look who the best person is to put in office to work for us. I use ontheissues.org as I am sure there are other sites and articles as well. The website I posted lets you know stances that have been taken by certain candidates in the past and currently. Source: 12 months ago

  • Biden is delivering the fastest economic recovery in history. Why hasn't anyone noticed?
Don't be fooled either. This isn't the government's decision to make. It's ours. The Federal Government has very limited powers. Most powers, and things that affect citizens, are controlled by the state governments. So if you care about something that needs to be changed like wealth inequality, Marijuana legalization, or public education, then get involved in your local politics. Open a new tab right now. • The SAFE Banking Act: What Is It And Where Does It Stand?
Yeah, I think Paul is correct. I went thru all the republicans at ontheissues.org a month or two ago and counted about 12 republicans who indicated they were open to some form of mj reform; maybe a couple who might be open to legalization. Noteworthy to mention there are 3 dem senators opposed to legal; 60 pro votes simply aren't there. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Leftists actions are a problem worldwide - not just in America
Ya'll spend your time focusing on your 2minutes of daily republican hate on reddit without even knowing. Go on govtrack.us and pick any random republican and look. Also conservative =/= republican. Here I just picked Allen Rick from GA. Look at all of his Trans genocide bills. Source: 11 months ago
  • Boner pills are gender affirming care.
If you are going to read the post, I suggest finding some AP correspondents that dont use Adjectives. Or temper the posts articles, with news of an equal timbre but opposite view. So you can hold them to a standard. And start digging into govtrack.us read these bills all the way back to their origins. Who wrote them, even compare old versions to see whats changed. • Rate this Keweenaw Peninsula
This is a map from govtrack.us. Each hex represents a US Representative. I think the hex represents MI-1 pretty well. Source: over 1 year ago
  • contents of NDAA/IAA bills passed by congress
However, neither bill appears to have passed either the house or the senate, according to govtrack.us, and I cannot find a text of the authorization bill that actually passed congress this month. Source: over 1 year ago
  • U.S. Senate passes the Marijuana and Cannabidiol Research Expansion Act, which has already passed the House, making it the first standalone marijuana reform bill to EVER make it to a president's desk.
I recommend r/watchingcongress as a good aggregator to alert you when new things are introduced. They link to the govtrack.us site, which pulls its data directly from the Senate and House back-ends. You can set an account up on GovTrack and set up email updates for bills that you are tracking.
