Nuclear is a music player that will use various sources around the internet such as YouTube and Bandcamp to search for and stream music completely ad free. The client itself keeps track of your artists, playlists, and likes. It doesn't require an account or any personal information to use and at times feels too good to be true. As has been said, K/s is an indication of transfer speed, and the default SLSK client does not keep track of transferred data for you. However, as there's never a bad time for a Nicotine+ plug, that does keep such stats, both for session and total transfer. Source: 12 months ago
Please be careful, there are some fake versions of the slsk client out there and they are confirmed malware. The official Soulseek website is http://www.slsknet.org/. There was a previous domain, but Nir (slsk's founder) lost control of it many years ago. I suggest you download a version of the client from this page or better yet download a copy of the third party client Nicotine+. N+ is updated far more... Source: about 1 year ago
