I use Ahrefs for gathering information about competitors' backlinks and general info on competitors, their DR, UR, traffic. I use it for several months. The information I gather with ahrefs helps me to understand general competitors' linkbuilding strategies. I'd like to have more for this money, site audit for example.
NewsBlur might be a bit more popular than Ahrefs Backlink Checker. We know about 20 links to it since March 2021 and only 16 links to Ahrefs Backlink Checker. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I also use it for its Popular Bookmarks - I subscribed to its RSS feed in NewsBlur and always have something interesting to read when my other feeds are Empty (they rarely are). - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader. It was RSS front-and-center, prominently featured on websites, supported by the biggest company in tech, with all the users there and able to take advantage of the (sparse) social features. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Https://newsblur.com/ I think this might be pretty close to what you're looking for. It's an RSS feed reader with a platform for discussions. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
Currently I'm on Newsblur. But it's really convoluted to Self host - to my "shame" I use their cloud hosted app with premium. It's (over)laden with features that I actually use and cheaper than for example Feedly. Source: 12 months ago
I start every day with RSS subscriptions using NewsBlur (https://newsblur.com) and Reeder (https://reederapp.com). I've also set up a page so other people can see my subscriptions / what I'm reading: https://sources.werd.io. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Using this, https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker/ I use it a lot. It's great to find dev resources, hidden gems, sites that talk about a specific topic, etc. It does have a limit (100 links), but for purposes such as this one - it is an absolute must-have bookmark for me. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
Ahref backlinks checker (to research backlinks). Source: about 1 year ago
Actually it's very possible to check what websites link to a given url. There's various tools used to check for backlinks, I linked to one in my other comment (https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker). Source: about 1 year ago
Yeah, you can a tool like this: https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker. Source: about 1 year ago
Just did some playing around with a couple tools, backlink checkers, the internet archive, reverse image lookup, and a bit of google-fu. Source: over 1 year ago
