  I don't know a place close like soundcloud there. There is newgrounds.com and it has audio portal which is good enough. The site itself is oriented to cartoons and browser games. Audio portal is a side feature. It has comments, rating, DMs, forum, followers. It's different from SC, of course. Depends on what you need. Source: 11 months ago

  I don’t think comments make a story more visible on HN, it’s not like https://tildes.net/ My belief actually is that visibility of posts is suppressed if they get, say, 20 comments and already have 50 votes.
