  • How do you Load Test your Wireless router? I did a 1 Hour Continuous Network Speed Test.
I have a few laptops I use for testing purposes, I connect them all to it and run netstress between them http://nutsaboutnets.com/archives/netstress/ To be fair I've not needed to load test my stuff in a long time but it worked last time I tried it. Source: about 2 years ago

You should try Flent from the BufferBloat project. Source: 11 months ago
  • Tools for measuring Network convergence, delay and packet loss
Flent (Flexible Network Tester) is a powerful network testing utility that aims to simplify the process of gathering and analyzing network performance metrics. Built on top of other open-source tools like Netperf, Iperf, and Ping, Flent automates the process of running multiple tests simultaneously and aggregates the results into comprehensive, easy-to-interpret graphs. • Help eliminating buffer bloat on connection speeds over 1gbps
Hmm... It does not take much packet loss to slow tcp down at that rate. A better test would run longer than waveform, like the flent.org tcp_ndown test. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Loaded latency with fast.com?
Also most of our web based tests do not last long enough to show the full extent of the problem. Waveform, while pretty good, doesn't test up and down simultaneously, nor does it last long enough. I've put out a few measurements here or there about what Starlink looks like over time, such as most recently, over here: https://github.com/mininet/mininet/issues/1119 - long term spikes for "Working latency" on...
