  • Cheap domain?
Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 6 months ago
  • Getting Started with Website Creation - Exploring Options for Theme Practice
You will catch on in no time. Play localy. When you are capable enough, buy yourself domain and hosting. I always sugest to beginers https://namesilo.com; for 30$ a year you will have domain, host and own mail, and turnkey WordPress installation. Source: 11 months ago
  • I want to create a blog but don't know if Wordpress is right for me
If you decide to go WP route, I can recommend https://namesilo.com For start. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Custom Domain Question
If you want to pay extra for privacy sure, go with godaddy. But better domain registers that do no charge for privacy and are closer to wholesale prices are, https://porkbun.com and https://namesilo.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is this website selling fake stamps?
I've read this same story before, and indeed, multiple websites use the same phrasing who also don't list their address. This website was registered through namesilo.com on the 29th of October, 2022 - strange for a company that supposedly has been buying liquidated stamps for a long time. Source: over 1 year ago

  • My players would like to create a collaborative "wiki" for our campaign. What are some tools, services or platforms to enable that? How can I incorporate that into gameplay?
Miraheze seems to be offering a platform to create private wikis and it runs the same software as Wikipedia. You do need to fill out a form and request a wiki but after that you and people you specify should be able to see and edit that wiki (with the exception of the main page which can be seen by everyone). • anti-discord rule
For those looking for an alternative to fandom https://miraheze.org is a good choice. Not for profit and they use vanilla mediawiki (what wikipedia uses) instead of whatever abomination fandom has going on. Source: over 1 year ago
