  • Rex-PN Experience
I check in (which was a pretty fast and seamless process, they let me start the exam early)- locked my phone and other belongings away- panic starts kicking in. I asked for noise cancelling headphones and earplugs- ended up removing the earplugs because I was getting distracted by the sound of my heart pounding through my chest lmao. As soon as I sat down- I quickly wrote down every lab value I could remember,... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Rolling Stone Charts: Olivia Rodrigo Dominates With ‘Good 4 U’
It's interesting as the rolling stone chart seems to often have the 1 & 2 spots flipped. The previous week it was J.Cole my.life at #1 and Olivia good 4 u at #2. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • from your experience how much do you think .digital and .network will worth in the future
It’s totally unpredictable what the future holds ^ GTLDs though have been gaining traction in sales and we are now able to see the pool of GTLD investors growing, 5 years ago this pool was small and very few were taking GTLDs seriously ... Now to some degree GTLDs are becoming more liquid, if you go on Namepros and see “Requests” you can see there is quite a few of GTLD investors, all be it they are buying... Source: about 3 years ago

  • Struggles Years after TBI
The one thing that I've heard and read and been told a bunch of times is not to compare yourself now to who you were before your injury, and while there is merit to that, it's obviously really hard not to do sometimes. The thing that I try to keep in mind is that - injury or no injury - I would be different now than I was then anyway. that's just how life goes. Meditation has really helped me in this area... To... • Why does Sam describe himself as a "Neuroscientist" and a "Philosopher" on his website?
Am I missing something? I can’t find mention of “philosopher” on samharris.org or wakingup.com. I see a mention of neuroscientist, but I think a PhD degree should allow you to call yourself that. As for credibility in both areas, check citations to his works - books (philosophy) as well as scientific papers (neuroscience). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Need Help
It's cliche, but try to take it one day at a time, one step at a time. meditation has helped me out a lot over the years... If you want to at least give it a shot, you can do a free 30-day trial at wakingup.com. I've made it part of my morning routine and, though it's not a cure-all, it really can get you in the right headspace to start your day with a little less stress. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What is mindfulness/meditation in a nutshell, what is it, what do you do?
