7 best Netflix alternatives: What to stream next
That list is just for right now, though. As the Mubi roster is always removing titles as it's gaining titles. In its Now Showing section, you'll get a list of the movies that are soon on their way out, but they're ranked in the order of what's disappearing in a month all the way down to what's leaving in the next few days.

The Cons: Well, there’s the whole ticking-clock thing. If you’re someone with a busy schedule who prefers to add movies to your queue to watch at a later date, this isn’t a great option. And compared to FilmStruck, it’s also a bit pricy for the limited number of movies you have access to at a given time. There was also some backlash this week when a crop of recent ads...

Shudder Reviews

Tired of Netflix? Here are 14 great alternatives to try
Shudder is the best of the Netflix alternatives for horror movie fans. Even if you are not a fan of the genre, Shudder might make you one with its diverse programming. The service always has a number of original movies it debuts every month, and they almost always get great reviews for how they stretch the horror genre. The service also has classic horror films, along with...
7 best Netflix alternatives: What to stream next
Netflix's horror selection is merely decent, and it's the kind of section that makes you wonder what else is out there. To sate your scary movie needs, check out Shudder. Available at $5.99 per month or $56.99 per year (for about 2.5 months free), Shudder offers a solid mix of the classics and modern projects — for a fraction of the standard Netflix package.
9 Awesome MoviePass Alternatives, From Paid Subscriptions to Free Ones
Not only that, but Shudder’s Collections include films by female directors, school-set horror stories, gems from East Asian filmmakers, as well as favorites chosen by guest curators like actress Barbara Crampton and Kumail Nanjiani. Oh, and the coolest thing? You can stay up to date on the latest genre titles from film festivals with their selection of premieres from...

  • What do you feel you are losing interest in as you grow older?
This is not an ad: I've seen a few YouTube creators who are into film (Broey Deschanel is an example) who are sponsored by a platform called Mubi: https://mubi.com/. Source: 10 months ago
  • Netflix Loses 1M Users in Spain over Password Policing
Mubi (https://mubi.com/) is nice. You don’t get a huge catalogue but they cycle it very regularly with varying thematic focus and showcase a mix of old movies and new art releases. It feels a bit like a cinema club. I recommend. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Netflix rolls out new fees for password sharing in Canada
I recommend Mubi. Just quality stuff, opposite of Netflix. https://mubi.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Signed up for a month of Mubi, any great films I'm missing from my watchlist?
Well you can go to mubi.com and sign up directly with them. I did this with BFI and tried to do it with Shudder but for BFI their web player wasn't as good as Prime and with Shudder I literally couldn't get the website to accept any of my cards. So now, if there is an Amazon Channel available for a service, I tend to go via that for ease. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Mundane Films
Not a specific movie, but if you go onto mubi.com and browse there seems to be a lot of movies like this up your alley. I'm not crazy about mundane films but there seems to be a lot of simple life indie movies there. Source: over 1 year ago

  • What's the best streaming service for horror?
There is a horror streaming service, shudder.com. It's only horror. Like all the other streaming services they have some exclusive movies as well. Their catalog of movies is not that large though. I could see running out of content to watch. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Was Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum recently removed?
Maybe skip skip gonjim, and dont renew through amazon next time. Just do everything from shudder.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does the Shudder website seriously not have a basic auto-play next episode feature?
I am using the shudder.com site on a Windows PC. Am I missing something or is there no auto-play feature? Source: over 1 year ago
  • I’m the GM of Shudder. We brought back Elvira, Joe Bob Briggs, Creepshow, Slasher, and we release a new horror movie almost every week. AMA!
