Make sure your papers are in Times New Roman font and 12 pt font size. They should also be double-spaced with 1 inch margins. I recommend running your paper through grammarly to check for grammar issues, even if you can only do the free version it can still be helpful. I am not sure how accurate it is, but https://plagiarismdetector.net/ is a start and highlight a decent amount of plagarised or similar works.
