  • How complicated is it to get a permit for for a PODS moving container?
I took a look at movingpermits.com. Their service fee of $150 is per container per day. If you are sure that it's only going to be one day, it would be well worth it to avoid dealing with the city. Note that this doesn't include barricades ($85). However I doubt that PODS would pick it up the same day you dropped it off. Source: almost 2 years ago

I paid a few hundred bucks for the U-Haul and $100 for the Dolly worker in Chicago. 10/10 would use Dolly again, so it's something to consider. Driving a... Source: over 1 year ago
  • I need to get some living room seating in my new apartment, but don’t have help to get a couch up the awkward tight staircase. Could a futon be worth it? Are there any cheap ways to get a couch delivered?
We've used Dolly (dolly.com) for small moving jobs, pricing is up front, guys have all worked out. Source: over 1 year ago
