There are Services like https://beeceptor.com/ or https://mockapi.io/ where you can fire your service against and define the answer you want. So you can trigger error responses for example. I'll assume it's the latter. Mocks are quick apis you can set up (mockable.io is a popular one) in a couple minutes that can be configured to provide an endpoint and a static response that you tell it to. Using that, you can hit the mock endpoint with your front end code.
