We managed to do it using OBS and a program running on my raspberry pi 3 called MistServer, as well as my audio mixer to mute the browser source on my end and a dynamic dns app. This all being said, the friend I was spitballing with was able to get a hold of a private beta build to help it work smoothly on the pi. I recently got the Wavlink AX3000 mesh router to replace my service provided router so that I can set my own preferred DNS server (running Pihole on my Rasberry Pi). Since hooking up this router I've been seeing anywhere from 6-12 DNS queries per minute to bing.com of A and AAAA type.
