But I was in your position a few months back, and recently discover https://mindmesh.com/ on Product Hunt's top product. I used to do a lot of copy/pasting from Slack to other apps. I didn't realize how much time it wasted until I recently discovered Mindmesh, a couple weeks ago #1 product of the day on Product Hunt. I'm really digging gather.town for this. Our team has it set up & the ad-hoc "meetings" have gone up tremendously. You can choose to engage or not but it seems to be way more informal than slack for a quick sync, which is a gigantic strength imo. Source: about 1 year ago
