  • MIDI controller question
If you don’t have (or you don’t want) a hardware MIDI interface, you can definitely set up something similar with a MIDI patchbay/merger/splitter software (MIDI Lab, MIDI Patchbay, etc). In either case, the idea is to merge all or several of your inputs together so they show up as a single port, and echo all inputs to all outputs (except themselves). Source: about 2 years ago
  • Midi Lab by Soundigy
Has anyone here used this software called [MIDI Lab](http://"MIDI Lab | Soundigy - Digital Audio, Video & MIDI Solutions" https://soundigy.com/midilab.php) it seems super heavy duty and good but I can't find any resources for it. I'm trying to decide if its worth trying to figure out or if I should just go with MIDI translator pro. Source: over 2 years ago

MIDI-OX mentions (2)

  • How can I use one MIDI device for two programs
Windows will only let one application read from a MIDI device at a time so my solution would be to set up two virtual MIDI cables (e.g. Using loopMIDI) and then use MIDI routing software (e.g. MIDI-OX) to receive from the MIDI keyboard and output to both virtual MIDI cables. • What do I need to make this MIDI keyboard work?
MIDI-OX is a very useful tool to see what MIDI messages are being sent by the keyboard/received by your PC, to rule out any application-specific issues. Source: about 2 years ago
