As "berrybrew" is specific to Strawberry perl, and we still technically support (but don't recommend ActivePerl), we tend to spin up VMs when we need to test our MIDAS software different versions of Strawberry/ActivePerl. Source: over 2 years ago

Koblime uses Sentry (https://sentry.io) to detect crashes and performance issues and PagerDuty (https://pagerduty.com) to send me an alert. The data tells me if an issue is isolated to a single region or user or if it's a site-wide outage.
