If you are not getting at least 20% of your content from sources opposite to your political affiliation, then you are woefully ill-informed and are likely wrong about much of what you believe to be true. Not when you control for political affiliation. Conservatives tend to be more knowledgeable on controversial issues, partly because they also tend to consume news from sources on both sides.
