The free plan of Contentful is generous enough to allow us to run a successful technology blog without having to pay for any overheads to run it. We used them as an alternative to the previously used Ghost. We have experienced a lot of growth since this migration.
Contentful might be a bit more popular than Mergify. We know about 9 links to it since March 2021 and only 9 links to Mergify. Https://mergify.com/ But there's several tricky aspects like "what if I want some commit to jump in front of queue?", compliance etc. Due to the multitude of requirements and off-the-shelf solutions being somehow limited, infra folks in my place are considering building a custom solution. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
A project includes a Mergify configuration. Mergify is a nice tool, but you may not have an account for it and it is not free for closed source projects. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago

It depends on the requirements, but this might actually call for a headless CMS like Forestry.io or Contentful coupled with a Static Site Generator like Hugo. Contentful is a headless content management system (CMS). Headless simply means there is no front-end to display the content to the consumer. It's basically a database, but much easier to setup and maintain than a traditional relational database. Contentful provides a very easy-to-use API for fetching and managing content. They also support GraphQL queries if you're into that. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Contentful has become my favorite Headless CMS. I use it to generate static web pages, this blog, and storing other forms of data, such as user profiles. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
