Mercari might be a bit more popular than 3D Hubs. We know about 19 links to it since March 2021 and only 13 links to 3D Hubs. Second-hand sites like poshmark.com, vinted.com, mercari.com, ebay.com, bratabase.com/listings, r/braswap, I even bought a NWT Panache Wired Sports bra for $20 off Facebook marketplace! LOL. Obvi, you can still find NWT from second-hand sites). Source: almost 1 year ago
The final sale stuff on Breakout Bras website is best prices I've found for the U.S. (outside of second-hand sites like poshmark.com, ebay.com vinted.com, mercari.com, the usual suspects. You can still find NWT stuff on these sites. I even found a Panache Wired Sports Bra NWT for $20 on Facebook marketplace! LOL.). Source: almost 1 year ago
I have also bought a lot of yarn on Mercari Lots of hand dyed yarn, name brands from individuals de-stash, estates. Source: about 1 year ago
You can always check mercari.com as well. Source: over 1 year ago
Mercari.jp is the second most popular. Don't get this confused with mercari.com, because while it is the same company, the listings aren't transferable. Mercari is basically like facebook marketplace, first come first serve. They also hate proxy services, so its harder for people not in japan to buy from them. I'll explain more in the proxy section. BTW, if you don't know anyone with a printer, you can always send it somewhere to have it printed. Lots of place online do it, such as hubs.com. Some UPS Stores now have 3D Printers as well: https://www.theupsstore.com/print/3d-printing/locations. Source: over 1 year ago
Use sketchup (it's free) to model it, then you can go to hubs.com or shapeways to get a quote on a 3D printed part. If it's gonna be out of the sun, you can probably get by with PLA. Otherwise use PETG for higher heat resistance. Source: over 1 year ago
I tried getting a quote on hubs.com for example-- it said $10 but then minimum order size of $90. Is there a way I can get this very inexpensively printed? I am just trying to print one for now for myself. Source: over 1 year ago
