- If you want a native encrypted cloud storage, one of the better priced ones is Mega. The free tier gives you up to 20GB to use. Here's a referral link if you want extra free storage a well. It's still E2EE, but not open-sourced. They do, however, have an audit on their encryption and source codes. Of course I'm not a software developer but as far as the fairemail application is concerned, it's technically at least 'partially' cloud based because I remember when I first setup my valid email accounts it asks for permissions from the email vendors such as gmail....
