Showing them isn't limited by any API at least. They are directly taken from one of the "gif" sites, the source message for them looks like this ![gif](giphy|LGobjSx3acxqg). 3.The only way I've come across to document the amount of time spent is to use timesheets or time tracking softwares. Some examples of time tracking softwares are Toggl, Hubstaff, and Time Doctor.
