What are these marks in the Czech Republic?
As many people pointed out, those are hiking marks. What I didn't see anyone mention is that when you go on en.mapy.cz you can turn on "outdoor map" with all the hiking trails. You don't have to worry about unsafe places or anything like that - just be careful about tourists traps in Prague - use only ATMs from proper banks, try to avoid small corner shops in the city center as they are overpriced etc. Check honest guide prague on youtube for more information.
