It was Magic, they did YC W15! They still exist; they've just pivoted a bit into virtual assistants. My bottomline is this. If this what is needed for YouTube to survive, I'm all for it. The alternate is YouTube shutting down (like what gfycat.com did) and years of stuff .. Just vanished. Source: 5 months ago
