MacCleaner Pro can safely clean up and speed up a Mac with just a few clicks. It allows you to find and remove useless junk stuff, such as cache, logs, mail attachments, language files, installations, screenshots. It helps to free up RAM, disable startup programs and extensions, reindex Spotlight and Mail, manage disk space, and many more. As a result, you recover significant free disk space and can again enjoy a smoothly-working Mac computer.

Unlike other cleaning apps for macOS, MacCleaner Pro provides additional Pro tools and helps for deep disk cleanup. With the bundle's additional applications, you can find and remove duplicate files of all types, clear similar photos, and even merge similar folders. With the help of other Pro tools, you can completely uninstall apps, manage extensions, find and show hidden files, and monitor memory usage by apps on your Mac.

Making your Mac work faster and cleaning up your hard drive is super easy with MacCleaner Pro. All you need to do is to launch the app, select the cleanup and speedup options, and click to perform them. It will take less than a minute to safely remove unneeded files and fix a slow Mac.

MacCleaner Pro Reviews

  1. Great app!

simple, logic and need to Mac users

  2. Best Price/Value

I did test a lot of cleaning tools. This provides a high variety of features and has one-time payment comparing to alternatives with slightly more amount of not critical functionality and high priced subscriptions.

  • What apps do you use to keep your Mac clean and fast?
My best recommendation is MacCleaner Pro from Nektony. Safe, trusted, and the company has excellent customer support- https://nektony.com/mac-cleaner-pro. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Help please, my Mac is not working
Open Activity Monitor, find memory-consuming apps and click the X button to close them. Also, you can do this with MacCleaner Pro, which finds the issues and reasons why your Mac is slow. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is cleanmymac x worth it?
However, I'd recommend you first try MacCleaner Pro from Nektony. This software provides even more great options, does its work perfectly and it's a one-time purchase. You can try its trial and see. Source: about 3 years ago

SDelete mentions (25)

  • Keep your files safe. What can happen if you throw away a defective hard drive?
What lessons can we take away from my story? They are, in fact, quite simple and obvious: merely deleting files and quick formatting is usually not enough when disposing of or selling hard drives. For more assurance, it’s better to perform a full format (in modern operating systems, of course). And for the truly paranoid, there’s the good old console utility SDelete from the Sysinternals suite or a tool named... - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
  • Hyper V VM full disk, won’t boot
I assume you were using a dynamically expanding disk - if so just note it won't dynamically contract just by deleting files. To shrink the drive you will likely need to run sdelete -z on the drive inside the VM to clear the free space, then edit and compact the VHDX. You will need to be able to boot the VM to run sdelete though so you'll need to temporarily move other files off the drive, or move the VM files to... Source: 11 months ago
  • Does formatting a drive remove bitlocker encryption from formatted data?
You can always download sdelete https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/sdelete and do an overwrite pass just to be safe. It'll take a while but you can do other things while it's running. Source: 11 months ago
  • Bitwarden backups
My understanding is that it doesn't completely solve it. I don't have time to dig up an authoritative source for this claim — hopefully this superuser comment will suffice. I believe that you can achieve something close to a secure erase by filling up your SSD to 100% capacity with data before deleting; the utility sdelete supposedly does this when using the -c option. • Wiping HDD in windows. Which program to use?
Check out sdelete from the MS sysinternals utilities suite: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/sdelete. Source: about 1 year ago
