I looked on lowendmac.com, the Plus can have 4 MB of RAM and it has a DB25 SCSI port out the back, so it's theoretically possible if you restrict yourself to the software I used here. I couldn't get any version of Netscape to work, a 68000 and 4 MB of RAM just isn't enough for it. Source: over 1 year ago

If you are happy with the performance, just a couple of notes: I BELIEVE that Apple replace the battery and whole keyboard (because it is quicker for the customer); if you do it yourself you will need to unglue the battery (not simple), but as others have said, ifixit.com have guides. Some good tips for you, though: unplug your laptop when it's asleep/shut down. This will help increase the lifespan of your battery. Look up a few tutorials on how to disassemble it. Might be able to find some on ifixit. I recommend a tilting laptop mount to help increase airflow and improve wrist ergonomics.
