Some good tips for you, though: unplug your laptop when it's asleep/shut down. This will help increase the lifespan of your battery. Look up a few tutorials on how to disassemble it. Might be able to find some on ifixit. I recommend a tilting laptop mount to help increase airflow and improve wrist ergonomics. Depends on what your use is going to be. Apple refurbished has all different configurations of 2019 16" MBP you can get AppleCare+. You can find good deals on swappa, just don't hesitate another site is MacSales Going M1 refurbished is fine too. 8GB is fine for the majority of the people using them.
