  • MicroWeb 2.0 – DOS web browser for Intel 8088
I'm assuming author is aware of (E)Links? http://links.twibright.com At least Links seems to have a DOS version. - Source: Hacker News / 16 days ago
  • Show HN: Frogmouth – A Markdown browser for your terminal
Http://links.twibright.com is the website, but the easiest way to try it is probably to search your preferred package manager. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • can someone with courier access please provide details on this report
The Couriers paywall is soft and pathetic, you can read their stories with a text based browser that doesn't include javascript, e.g. http://links.twibright.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Kristall – a browser without support for CSS/JS/WASM or graphical websites
Like Links[1] then? Really. I want Epiphany and Firefox to allow me turn off JavaScript like I can allow/disallow {Audio, Video, Webcam, Location, Notifications...}. The single wrong decision was following Google into that JS-Show. JS has it rationals, I'm using it as programmer sometimes. But JS was consider harmful for the reasons! Google intention was using JS for it's so called... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Is there any terminal based browser for windows?
May not be quite what you're looking for but Links2 has a text-only mode: http://links.twibright.com/. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Firefox+ublock>brave
You could use ungoogled chromium or iridium browser, browsers less knowledged (they don't need youtubers to be adversited), and works good, plus ungoogled chromium is literally chrome without google, and iridium is brave but without all their crypto bullshit and lies. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Just wanted to share the video about why Firefox is important for open web and why you should use Firefox based browser instead of Chromium.
You mean like Iron, Epic, or Iridium? Privacy focused chromium has been around almost as long as chromium has. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I accidentally seem to have started a browser war... anyways
Anyone have any feedback about the iridium browser? Seems kinda similar to Brave but without the crypto nonsense. Haven't really tried it yet though. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Hey Guys Which Browser do you use and mention the distro and Why
Iridium Browser doesn't use much ram and it is the fastest browser I've used by far. They also claim to have some privacy stuff but I can't test that. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Being open-source doesn't mean shit if you don't respect the open-source philosophy
As an honourable mention, Iridium browser. I see this mentioned more in privacy focused subreddits, so I cannot speak for it at all myself, but it can be worth looking into if you're strictly after a chromium based browser. Source: about 2 years ago
