In the US, even just looking at indeed and filtering out the scam ones there's tons of applications I can send out each day for companies I've never heard of before. Other than that try to find alternative job boards, handshake or even something like a google query like the following: site:http://lever.co/ | site:http://greenhouse.io/ | site:http://app.dover.io/ | site:http://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ (developer |... Awesome! Thanks for the advice. I'd never heard of greenhouse.io or lever.co but I'll def check them out. Source: 12 months ago
Correct, the field is marked as required and I can't progress if it's blank. I see this all the time on sites like lever.co . Source: 12 months ago
God I love Lever so much. Whoever made Lever doesn't know just how much I appreciate them, fighting against those cursed portals like Workday, ICIMS, and Brassring to make the grueling application process so much more bearable just by being simple and friendly. Every time I see an internship application direct to a lever.co site, I have a small celebration in my brain. Thank you Lever. Source: 12 months ago
Basically the title. If I'm going to apply for google, microsoft, etc. I would totally go through the process and fill out the application form. But sometimes I just randomly want to pass my CV and see what sticks. In that case, I just want to limit myself to companies that only need a CV and have a one-click submission process like lever.co. Hiya.com - it comes default with most Samsung phones. Otherwise, you have to download it. It compares the incoming call and SMS telephone numbers against a database of known scammers, spammers and fraudsters. You can set it to auto block or let the call go through but with a caller ID warning that it's a suspected bad call. Source: almost 2 years ago
It turns out it's via a service called Hiya. Haven't looked fully into how you go about adding your name and phone number to that, but obviously it would only work on compatible phones. Source: over 2 years ago
But you're right - most of the time it's a local number (even though it really isn't)! You can get the hiya.com app, which is really helpful. Source: almost 3 years ago
