Should I be concerned because I bought Ledger device from authorised reseller from official ledger.com because it's a 3rd party? Presumably you still have the seedphrase? If so, you can buy a new Ledger and restore it (make sure you get the official version of Ledger Live from ledger.com only). You could also get a Trezor and put in the same seed phrase, but Trezor doesn't support that many coins, so you may get stuck for some coins. Source: almost 2 years ago
I’ve received my Nano X from authorised reseller from ledger.com, not Amazon or third party. The box is in orange and black and the container is white. Is it normal? See attached. I know that ledger changed their packaging but I heard it was in black which is different to what I got. Can you confirm it is safe? Source: almost 2 years ago

BitBox is a hardware wallet designed and I think manufactured in Switzerland you can find it here https://shiftcrypto.ch or their shop https://shiftcrypto.shop. I have both Trezor and Ledger the other major competitors BitBox is my favourite out of the 3 then Trezor then Ledger mostly because their source code is open and available to verify on GitHub for free whereas Ledger is proprietary. If you want to install bitcoin core you can get it from bitcoin.org. But depending on what you want to do it’s probably not the best option. If you want to get into bitcoin and want to make sure your coin stays save you should get a hardware wallet.
