You should not store your data in git itself, but rather use git to version your data sets. The currently best option for that is (IMHO) https://lakefs.io though there are a few others in various states of usability/maturity. Source: about 1 year ago

For PHP https://platform.sh has got a lot of traction, but it's notc cheap especially for small apps. You may create/purchase a server from DigitalOcean/Linode/Vultr depending on your disk space utilization and install a control panel such as Cloudstick.io runcloud.io or serverpilot.io - the way I recommended would not increase your bill anymore. Source: about 3 years ago
