I run a business called Keygen [^0], and own the @keygen namespace on npm. We’re working on a Node SDK, so this isn’t good to hear. I’ll open up a discussion with them and see what we can do. [^0]: https://keygen.sh. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
I run https://keygen.sh by myself. I built it about 7 years ago and started running it on the side. I went full-time on it in 2020 when it got too big to run on the side. As for trends -- the market is a bit slower these days due to the current economic environment. I've noticed smaller businesses have had a tougher time buying (and staying on), while enterprises have had an uptick. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Working on adding “environments” to my business’ API (https://keygen.sh). I’ve gone over 6 years without offering a “sandbox” environment to customers, so I’m excited to finally be working on this one. It’s been quite complex implementatiom-wise, and has touched a lot of surface area, since I want it to support multiple named environments (e.g. staging, dev, one-offs isolated test envs for CI/CD). I’m currently developing a commercial product with Rust and I was wondering what the best way to distribute and sell licenses for it is. Should I use a third party like keygen or is there an easy way I could get started on implementing my own. I was a philosophy major and ran arch in college without too many issues. The main thing I needed was a doc/docx compatible word processor for submitting my essays to turnitin.com (though I believe I was simply able to email or turn in a physical copy for a lot of the them) and LibreOffice sufficed for that. Google Docs should also work for this and there shouldn't be any issues using the web version of... Source: 5 months ago
This works for most schools and colleges as most teacher's arent given turnitin.com which is way more accurate and is what professors and universities use themselves. As someone who relied on zerogpt for months, It isn't as accurate at detecting as it claims so its probably isnt safe to submit important tasks like this. Source: 5 months ago
As a final grade for my english class, we had to create a college personal statement essay and submit it through turnitin.com. I am hoping to submit this personal statement also to my colleges, but im scared im going to get marked for plagerism. Any answers to this? Would really help! Source: 10 months ago
And how exactly would that work? Schools and colleges use services like turnitin.com all the time to check for plagiarism. I don't think you know what you're talking about. If I was your teacher, I would LOVE to see you try and sue me or make me lose my job. Source: 11 months ago
The closest one that exists is turnitin.com premium which is close but not really accurate and definitely not free. Source: 11 months ago
