I exported my Google Maps Record and downloaded it. .json file is downloaded. Then we convert it into .CSV file using a Python script. And then to visualize, online web Kepler.gl is used. Source: over 1 year ago

For Game of Thrones (and A Song of Ice and Fire), there is a really cool project. A world map shows where all characters are currently at and it can be controlled for the show and books by selecting the chapter or episode of interest.
