I use my Xbox controller with the JoyXoff app that has a very clean Xbox look popup keyboard. Works great for my use and you can toggle the mouse/keyboard function and use it as a regular controller with a few button combos. You guys from MAC will use https://joystickmapper.com/ Instead of JoyToMidi to map your Drumset. That's the only difference between Windows and Mac process. Source: over 2 years ago
