Unless you enjoy grammar, that is. But anything that makes it more of a slog (less fun) will be deadly to you now. AT this point it's not about remembering the exact correct declention of Dativ, Genetiv, etc. I honestly think that just comes with practice, practice, practice. I've found the most success with learning words in some sort of flashcard format based on frequency lists (meaning learning the most frequently used words first), and then solidifying that learning by reading Chinese text in graded readers. For the flashcard format I use hackchinese.com , for the graded reading I use DuChinese app. Source: 10 months ago

Hackchinese.com has lots of vocabulary lists, like "baking a cake" (14 words), "bicycles" (53 words), "bus" (29 words).... There is a free trial so you can see if you like it, but I don't remember how long it is. Source: about 2 years ago
I was in the same place a few months ago. The thing that's helped me a lot is reading online, so that it's easy to look words up. I also use an SRS (hackchinese.com, but I know a lot of people use Pleco or anki) to keep track of any word that seems useful or interesting or common. Source: over 2 years ago
