There are quite a lot of ways to run scripting languages in C#. I've no idea what JSR223 is but .NET has DLR for example. The official site may be hard to understand at time (it was for me at least) but that’s why I gave you the other two. they’ll explain it simpler/better than the official site may sometimes.
